Singapore's No.1 durian cake maker opens shop in Xiamen

Purchasing a traditional durian flavoured cake will become easier in Xiamen as Emicakes, Singarepore's No.1 durian cake maker, has opened its first shop in the city on 22nd January, 2010.
 
Emicakes, with 17 years of history in baking, is famous all over Singapore for its durian cakes. The sale volume of its durian cakes reached 10 million Singapore dollars last year.
 
The company has set up a cake factory with a total area of 800 square metres at Dongpu Road.
 
Mr. Wang, managing director of the company, said, "The Durian cake of Emicakes is the highest-grade cake in Singapore. The price of durian cakes will be higher than that of other cakes. Besides durian cakes, Emicakes will sell a series of chocolate cakes and personalized bread with the customer’s portrait on it."
 
"We plan to open 30 shops in Xiamen and forge it into the top brand in the Xiamen market. The company will later expand the market to Quanzhou, Zhangzhou and some cities in Guangdong Province." he added.
