The largest tea centre in Xiamen will be opened in Block A, South Commercial Mall of Xiamen New Railway Station, making Block A a "Tea Expo".

With a total area of about 10,000 square metres, the tea capital has started to attract foreign businessmen, who are required to have integrated strength of producing, supplying and marketing by themselves.

"The tea enterprises we recruit must be famous nationwide, and sell tea directly to Shenzhen and Beijing through the tea capital," said Mr. Ding, the proprietor principal of the Commercial Mall.

Meanwhile, to gain popularity, the proprietor will grant a long rent-free period to the future tea enterprises. The minimum rent-free period is 3 months, according to an informed source.

At present, some tea enterprises have consulted about cooperation with the commercial mall, like Eight Horses Tea, Xiamen Huxiangyuan Tea, Xiamen Tea IMP & EXP and Xiamen Luyan Tea.

There are tremendous business opportunities in the Xiamen New Railway Station, as the proprietor claims. Xiamen New Railway Station will see 10 million visits by railway and highway passengers every year in 3 years. Besides, there is a large population of about 1 million near the neighbouring universities and Jimei New Town.

The proprietor also reveals that, in addition to rent-free policy, they may offer estate management for free. Many businessmen have expressed their desire to enter the Commercial Mall, even at a higher rent than that of neighbouring shopping malls.
