Jilin Lighting Displays Sets Guinness World Record

The officials of the Guinness World Records made an onsite measurement of the Beishan Scenic Spot lighting display beside the Songhua River in Jilin on Oct. 10. The Beishan Scenic Spot lighting display was identified as the tallest and biggest of its kind in the world, with a height of 20.5 meters and width of 180 meters.
This lighting display is a reduction of Jilin's famous tourist attraction Beishan. All the scenery of Beishan, such as its temple, bridge and pavilion, are in this design. This gigantic colored lantern was made by 20 people over the course of three months.
