World Expo Cultural Center Completed
Construction on the Cultural Center at the Shanghai World Expo has been completed. As one of the five permanent buildings at the Expo site, the new facility will host a number of cultural performances.
Workers spent more than two years building the new landmark, which boasts a huge space for performances. The stage is located at the center with spectators' seats surrounding it. The center holds a maximum of 18-thousand people, and its capacity is adjustable to serve various needs.
It will make an ideal venue for celebrations, concerts, basketball games, and even ice skating events. Theme shows and concerts will be staged at the facility during the Expo. Performers are currently using the center to rehearse for the opening ceremony in late April.
